MY OS is Vista, but we do have a lose PC (either Vista or XP). I had it connected to a monitor only previously and the program to view the recorded video is antique--very cumbersome. So if I connect it to a router, how do I manage the recorded images (FF, rewind, erase, save, etc.)? Hyper V is the operating system to install on the unused PC. I guess I don't understand the technology.the DVR has some kind of clunky software to view the video and that's the part I'm confused about. I thought I'd need something installed (other than the Hyper V?) Appreciate any other advise. MY OS is Vista, but we do have a lose PC (either Vista or XP).
